Hello! Welcome back to the 2022-2023 school year. I am thrilled to be teaching 4th grade for my 6th year here at Hillside .  This is my 23rd year teaching and each year is just better than the next! My family and my teaching career are the most important things in my life.  My husband and I raised two curious, silly, and kind girls.  Both girls are graduates of NIU and are employed and on their own (phew).  My mom moved in with my husband and I several years ago and we have a very spoiled pup named Abby.  My husband and I like to travel and spend as much time with our family as possible.  I love to garden, read, listen to music, refinish furniture, paint,  and of course do some occasional online shopping.   We are Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks, and Chicago White Sox fans (but we always root for the Cubbies as well).
